This was my first time photographing these cute siblings, and I hope I’ll have many more opportunities. They were fun, easy-going, nice to each other — easy. The session just flowed. I love shooting in this spot — there is so much variety everywhere you look. And the light…forget it! How magical is that?

This is my niece, Karina. She has grown up so fast! I have an old photo somewhere — I’m laying on the couch, and on my chest is baby Karina…all eight pounds of her. She was so little, and now look at her! So beautiful and all grown up. She has such pretty eyes.
Karina is a talented musician who hopes to someday make it big. She visited me last month and we headed to the mountains for a little early morning hike and shoot — check out those heels! It takes talent to trek up those hills on your tiptoes! Fortunately, she had a pair of flip-flops handy for the majority of our walk.
